The 3 or 4-digit number included in your physical card that does not take part in the credit card number, and is normally printed on the back of the credit card represents the card’s security code (CSC). This code is different from the PIN code required by ATMs.
It is of highest importance when completing an online payment with Hop2, to present your card’s security code (sometimes called CVV or CID). Such an element was added by the companies issuing cards in order to make sure the person that is proceeding with payments is no one else but you.
