General Questions

  • At Hop2, we are dedicated to making your trip less expensive and convenient. We offer exceptionally reasonably-priced air trip tickets thanks to our various agreements with worldwide carriers. We’ve negotiated with our partners in order to get access to lower-priced fares that are not available online, as a result, our clients may seize the opportunity of getting expert assistance and the cheapest market deals.

Hop2 has agreed on getting discounted fares with such carriers as Philippine Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Qatar Airways, Air China, Ethiopian Airlines, Iberia Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Scandinavian Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, El Al Airlines and Turkish Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines, Air France, Lufthansa, British Airways, South African Airlines, Japan Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, Cathay Pacific, Emirates Airlines, Swiss Airlines, Austrian Airlines, and many more.

  • You need to hold a valid passport while entering the plane.

Yet, generally, the travel sector advises travelers to have a passport that’ll be authentic at least 6 months after the scheduled travel.

Some airlines have this as a rule. Visa regulations depend on the country. We strongly encourage you to always check the entry rules of the country you are visiting by reaching out to the local embassy or consulate of your destination country. Please be aware it’s your own obligation to get a visa when needed. Remember to also verify with all the countries indicated in your route for your nationality. If you modify airports it will no longer be considered a transit and you will have to verify the applied rules for a 'normal' visa.

  • In the majority of cases, the carriers require the flight tickets to be non-refundable and non-exchangeable, however, if something occurs and you wish to annul or delay your travel, you'll have an opportunity to receive a refund or exchange according to the fare type you chose. The ticket flexibility is often associated with the price, the most inexpensive tickets are usually non-exchangeable and non-refundable, higher-priced fares offer more flexibility. Either way, there are some exemptions therefore you must always check airfare rules relevant to your ticket with an expert from Hop2. Air carriers that permit exchanges or refunds can charge penalties, also there is a processing fee, which your agent will quote at the time of purchase. Penalty fees are subject to airline policy.

  • Yes, you'll be able to cancel your booking and request a refund, however it depends on the type of ticket you hold.

The cancellation request must be submitted to Hop2 or directly to the airline company. If you decide to cancel your reservation within 24 hours but you've purchased an additional "Standard" or "Plus" Bundle when making a booking, you will receive a full refund for the airline ticket. At that time, please note that the Bundle will be consumed, and it's not refundable. If the cancellation request is submitted later than 24 hours, then you'll have to pay the fee required by the airline. As a general rule, all bookings must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. If you fail to cancel your ticket, the airline will treat the ticket as a "No Show," and the ticket automatically loses its value; therefore cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Note: If you have a paper ticket rather than an e-ticket, you must return the paper ticket to Hop2 Tickets before we can process any kind of refund or exchange.

  • If you need to change your ticketed flights, such as the dates, destinations, or times, your ticket must be reissued. In most of the cases, airlines will charge a fee for exchanging a ticket and a processing fee will apply up to $100. Moreover, there may be a fare difference applied between the original dates and the new travel dates. Tickets cannot be changed online.

Some general rules to keep in mind are:

    • Tickets may not be exchanged from one airline to another.
    • You cannot change the name on an airline ticket or transfer the ticket to a third party (non-transferable).
    • Tickets usually cannot be exchanged if you did not cancel your itinerary prior to the scheduled departure time of your original flight. This is called a “no show” and the airline considers your ticket to be null and void with no further value for an exchange. (Note: Most of the airlines require itineraries to be canceled 24 hours prior to originally scheduled flight to retain credit)

When you are considering a cancellation or a change, please contact our Hop2 travel specialists who will assist you with the request. Please note that cancellation policy depends on the type of fare and airline policy. Hop2 technical support agents are standing by 24/7 to help you with any request.

Everything depends on the carrier’s decision, however, there are cases when the ticket may be reopened for future use.
